Hey guys.

Is it possible to tell me, when the "Schiphol STW" will be back in service??. I miss that one, and think it has been under construction a long time now

I don´t think it does..
Although i´m no builder, i can only tell you that it does sometimes take months before Stellwerke come back online.

The handbook ("Handbuch") does also give some Information about that:

Bauen: Für einen Neubau des Gleisbildes kann man etwa 7 Tage anrechnen, ein Umbau nimmt im Schnitt ca. 5 Tage in Anspruch.
Fahrplan: Einen Fahrplan für ein neues Stellwerk zu erstellen, dauert ca. 4 Wochen. Ein Stellwerksumbau ist mit etwa einer Woche Arbeit am Fahrplan verbunden.
Testen: Sind Stellwerk und Fahrplan soweit fertig, geht es in die Testphase. Diese kann mit ca. 4-6 Wochen veranschlagt werden.
Werden im Test Fehler gefunden, müssen diese natürlich auch korrigiert werden, was wieder Zeit kostet…

A quick translated summary:
Building: It takes about 7 days to build a Stellwerk - about 5 days to change something.
Timetable: Creating a new one takes about 4 weeks - A change about one week.
Testing: If the Stellwerk and the Timetable was built, testing begins - This takes 4-6 weeks.
If any errors were found, they need to be corrected which also needs some time to be done.

But as i said before: It can take much longer than that for a Stellwerk to come back online.

I am the builder and one of the region Admins of Niederlande West.

I can proudly inform you that Schiphol is in the last step befor you can see it again.
I think it will be back in service next week.

Sorry that it takes so long for updating it.
But we build in an complete new timetable for 2010.
